The start
I’m not a good writer, I don’t have a following, and no one will ever read this… so why am I doing it?
We are all exposed to an insane amount of data and chaos, whether we seek it or it seeks us every single week. It’s likely a healthy thing for us to summarize the best parts, log it somewhere, and be able to compound it throughout a lifetime.
Even though I’m old now, nearly 40… I’ve missed out on almost 30 years of not compounding this data. This ends now. If I’m being honest, I likely won’t keep going with this for long… but let’s see where the dice lands.
Each week, I’m going to be writing a newsletter to myself, I’m going to try and keep a simple framework that is prompt enough for me to not have to think about what to write.. yet flexible enough not to become a robot.
Here is the framework,
What's Keeping Me Busy
What's On My Mind
Health Tracking
Wealth Tracking
Things I Learned
What Did I Read
New Discoveries
Next Week
Not every week I’ll hit each one, I want to reduce it down to at least around 5 of them. However, these are the ones I’ve thought about currently. I want to explain my reasoning behind them.
What's Keeping Me Busy
Each week I want to track what I’m doing, what I’m focused on.. from week to week. It’s more about progression and seeing how it shifts weekly. Maybe in schizo or something, I don’t realize it.
What's On My Mind
As I want to track what I’m doing, I want to track what I’m thinking about.
Health Tracking & Wealth Tracking
Money and health are wealth, so I want to keep updated on both of those fronts
Things I Learned
Learning is important, when I was in my 20’s I was learning something new daily. As you age, you get into a routine, you’re focused on excursion rather than learning. However, I think this might make your brain hard.
The rest are mainly things I want to share with others and highlight.
